Today we learned how to cook! We led the hotel around 8:00 and went to the place where they taught us to take some Khmer food. We went to the market first to learn about the ingredients and see where the locals get their food.
Grandma and I got these little things made of sticky rice and I think sugar on top. It kind of tasted like kettle corn. It was good! We also saw this super cute baby:
^^so precious. We went back to learn how to make banana salad, fish amock, and a sweet potato & tapioca dessert. We chopped things and sliced things and mixed things. It was such a great experience! And the food turned out to be delicious!! We also got a packet with tons of Khmer recipes!

So we were there until about 1. We left at 1:30 to head to the airport to back to Phnom Penh. Our plane left at 3:30, arrived at 4:15, and we got to our hotel at 6:00 because of the traffic. We went to a shadow puppet/dance show tonight with traditional and modern dance. It was actually pretty impressive. The dances and music were very beautiful.
Another great day! Going to the zoo all day tomorrow! :)
